I'm trying to teach myself Studio One by adding and removing to a sample song and I got stuck trying to remove a fade. There are lots of online tutorials showing how to add and modify and automate fades.  I even tracked down the section in the online help. However, it seems nobody thought to show how to take one out.

I have methodically attempted every sort of mouse click, with and without every possible combination of control/alt/shift, and went over all the various menu commands and the fade or volume envelope remains. I'm way over 30 minutes into the project of trying to remove a fade from a clip without deleting and re-adding the clip and without undo-ing everything that was done to the song since adding the clip.

The best I can do is a rounded top-right log corner by dragging the middle marker up, but that doesn't do the job. I want the fade gone.

Hi Tim,

You can remove or reset a fade by Ctl [Cmd] + clicking on it's adjustment node below, the same as resetting clip gain.

To remove an automation envelope you only need to right click the control for it, like a fader cap, and "Remove (X) Automation".
