Question

This was recorded midi with varying lengths.  I'd like to find a way to have them trimmed based on the length drop down on the left side of the piano roll editor (1/8/, 1/16, etc.).  Searching for note length in manual did not help.

There are several ways of doing it. The fastest is using Common length, by dragging the end of one of the selected notes while holding CTRL.

Another way is using Musical funtions > Length > Set all to.

Length has arguments available, so it's possible to create a macro. For instance for setting up a shortcut to always use Set all to 1/8.
