Question

I have watched the videos, song set-up creating cue mix on channels 7&8, going into Mac utilities and updating Midi Audio set up.

In the headphones:

I can record and hear the mic.

I can playback and hear the recorded track.

I can't hear the metronome no matter what I do.

In the studio monitors:

I can hear the mic

I can hear the recorded track

AND I can hear the metronome during recording and playback.

Can anyone help me out?

If you are using sub outputs for your headphones, you will need to check the icon of the metronome in the sub output channel strip in the Console.  Open the Console and go to "Outputs."  You can then drag the small tab next to the Main output to show all of your sub outputs.  Once you can view your sub outputs, click the icon of the metronome.  Here is a screenshot that shows the metronome icon as well as the small tab that you need to drag out.
