First of all you didn't really read the instructions and so left out a BUNCH of vital information for answering your questions...The RED

  • Your Computer Make and Model
  • Operating System and Version
  • Application Version
  • Audio Interface and it's Driver Version
  • Digital Mixer and it's Driver/Firmware Version
  • Fill out as much detail as possible in the "More Information" area

instructions specify we need this info to help... I'm telling you this so if you have further questions you'll need to provide more info...Now, I suspect I know what is wrong, you haven't routed the audio THROUGH the Audiobox, and instead it's routed to the computers audio ... If this were a PC, you would go to START > control panel > sound > Playback and within that dropdown locate the Audiobox and rightclick on it and set as default ...In the Mac it's in the audio/midi setup. Note here that you can also select the RECORDING tab and set where the audio is routed INTO the computer (PC) .

I suspect your a newbie here, so I'm going to tell you that there is a STEEP learning curve here. You need to READ THE MANUAL! No substitute...HOWEVER, there are TONS of video's about Studio one, and all the Presonus gear. The reside in the Presonus forum and are searchable with KEYWORDS on search engines (I like Google). Further there is the Home Studio Trainer.

Now, do a Google search and type in "home studio trainer, Johnny Geib" There you'll find Johnny, and he has LOADS of videos, and a website (become a member) and he also does one on one training too. You'll also find this:

Where he takes you through "Recording a song from start to finish in Studio one"... so get busy!

Oh, and do yourself a favor and look up Optimizing your computer for digital audio, you'll have a LOT less trouble if you slim down your computer's operation (especially PC laptops)!

Wow....there are a LOT of rude responses in these forums. Try to remember, you have people who are trying out these products for the very first time. Not everyone knows everything there is to know.
