Is it possible in some way to grab and drag through the track view?

Hi,

If you are referring to panning around the arrange space like in some other workstations or graphic apps, dragging the entire arrange around, not currently.   There may be an existing feature request for that in the Feature Request section here.  Search to see and if so vote it up and if not feel free to create.
