It sounds like you need to lower your Device Block size, aka ASIO buffer size, aka audio buffer size. If you are on a Windows machine, you will want to lower the Device Block Size in the control panel for your ASIO driver. If you are using a PreSonus interface, this needs to be set inside of Universal Control. You will want to set the buffer size prior to opening Studio One. Try setting the buffer size at 64 and increase it as needed if you get pops and clicks in your audio. To run with a lower buffer size, you will want to go into Studio One>Options>Audio Setup>Processing and set your Dropout Protection to "Maximum.
If you are on a Mac, you will want to open Studio One and go to Studio One>Preferences>Audio Setup to adjust the Device Block Size. You don't have to set the buffer on a Mac prior to opening Studio One. If this does not resolve your issue, you may want to submit a support ticket from your my.presonus.com account under "Support."
