I use a Focusrite 6i6. Whenever I record a instrument input and have a backtrack playing, the recorded instrument track records the back track quietly too. How do I stop this?

This should not be happening under normal circumstances. I advise to contact Focusrite to make sure there are no issues with the 6i6.
