Can't get my phone connected to my soundboard

Hey, I have a 16.4.2 (not AI) mixer, and I have it connected to my laptop, which is an old HP Pavilion dv2200 with Windows 10, and using an expansion card to connect to the board via firewire.  I am running universal control on the computer, and it's connecting well to the mixer, I don't have any problems there.  I then connect a router to the computer (with Ethernet), so that I can connect a phone to it so I can control it from my phone.

The problem is that I can't find my mixer on my phone (android), and UC doesn't see my phone either.  With an apple product, it will find the mixer, but it won't connect to it (the mixer never sees the ipad).  If I hook my board to a Mac, it all works just as it should.  Has anyone else had this problem before or have any ideas on what I could do about it?

If SL Remote App is already up to date, then your version of Universal Control on the computer may need to be updated. Currently, UC and SL Remote / QMix must be on the latest versions to be compatible.
