Gain staging with a VCA, basically alters only the output of a signal. What about if you want to change the amount of level you hit certain plugins on the way in? Marcus demonstrated something like that, in he's video with Softube Saturation. That is exactly my point, what if he has the saturation knob in 12 tracks, and he wants to alter the saturation of all tracks together? Both for mixing reasons and time of course, its a better way to do it, then altering individually. Anyway, this is a feature of Cubase, something that saved me a lot of time, in the studio. And this in not just a gain thing. It should be possible with at least all the 'Program Plugins". Another example is Hi pass filtering. To be able to hi pass  10 channels  at once with ProEQ for example, is a 10 minute less procedure, live saving in the studio. Through the producing stage I always try to keep my faders at unity. I use a FP8, it is always easier to start mixing at unity, so I always start my levels with the Gain plugin. I see a lot of people working with a 'Gain In" plugin as first insert on all tracks.  Been able to select  8 tracks and adjust lets say the 1st insert, on all of them together is live saving. I can't see how some one who mixes processionally every single day like I do, wont take advantage of something like that.

Hi,

It's not currently possible in Studio One.  If you like, make a feature request here: http://answers.presonus.com/studio-one-feature-requests if one doesn't already exist asking for that.
