Universal Control does not recognize Firestudio

Hi All:

I suddenly started having a problem with my Firestudio interface.  Specifically, Universal Control no longer seems to recognize the unit.  Meaning that I cannot pull up the mixer or adjust anything via the software.  The hardware works fine and can properly monitor and record audio.  I have had this unit for years and never had an issue with it.  

Has anyone else had this happen that can advise me of a fix?

For reference:

- I have since updated Universal control and Firestudio driver to current version.

- I have uninstalled and reinstalled UC

- I've shutdown, rebooted, closed out, etc. with no effect.  

- System details:

Dell XPS8300 running Windows 10, 12GB RAM

UC version 1.7.5.5

FS Driver 3.5.5 (says Driver Version 0.0.0.0 then 5848 in UC)

Any advice would be much appreciated.
