This is my setup:

Computer - MSI GL62 QD

OS - Windows 10

Audio Interface - Audient iD14

DAW - Reaper

No monitors connected and my guitar is plugged straight into the interface, using Bias FX for effects if that makes any difference.

I want to be able to control separate headphones for listening when I record more than just myself. Also for showing other people my work.

I run balanced cables from the speaker output of my interface to the input of the HP4, as suggested in the manual, but I still get no sound from the headphone jacks. Sound still comes from the headphone jack on the interface, so I wonder, is there a specific setting I have to activate for the HP4 to receive signal? This is my first attempt at home recording, so I have no idea what I might be missing.

The HP4 is very straight forward.  It only has one audio input source.

Ensure you have audio working from your DAW and your interface device on the output channels you are connecting the HP4 to.

You can connect your headphones directly to the output channels of your interface device to determine if audio is passing.

If so, then you might suspect the HP4 as the problem.
