[converted to feature request]

So I'm a Cubase 9 and Ableton 9 user, but am very interested in Studio 1 as a replacement for Ableton (currently running the 30-day demo and really loving it). I'm not happy with the direction they devs are taking Ableton, and Cubase (as much as I love it for composer work) is cumbersome and not ideal for sketching out fast ideas.

In Ableton, you have this option when rendering a mixdown that says "Render As Loop". For those who are unfamiliar I'll briefly explain (if you are familiar just skip the line below).

This basically takes the region you've selected via start and end markers (for example a 4 bar section), renders that out, but then it also knows to wrap effects tails (reverbs, delays etc) so that they're seamlessly 'baked in'. All done in one step, and quickly.

In short when you commence playback of the aforementioned program material you have a loop that seamlessly plays through with reverbs, delays baked in so that it can easily be played over (and over) with wet fx.

Is there a way of doing this in S1 currently? It's a massive timesaver (and workflow boost).

Yes, it’s a really useful tool and must-have for the ones working in the video game industry. You always have to bounce your cues as a perfect loop.
