I would love studio one to add some features im so used to in Cubase.

Zero crossing snap on audio event when cutting.

Direct visual volume shaping on audio events. So you see the waveform change while editing volume automation or draw volume envelopes like in cubase directly on the event.

Direct render pitch and stretch algorithms for audio would be awesome  aswell

I'm back you, man!  Even the media thought S1 should have the" snap to zero crossing" featrue!

This is an important one. It's always a bit frustrating to estimate where to cut. Especially for remix applications the average "fade" doesn't do the trick - if you don't get the start points right.

+1 Thanks for this request, snap to zero-crossing is a very useful feature for serious audio editing.

Just want to add my vote for adding zero crossing snap feature. Really important. I was very surprised to find out this feature was lacking in S1 after I had bought the product.

Agreed. Would love to see just a general 'Snap to Zero Crossing' option for the mouse tools in general!

Yup. Kind of silly that its not there as former cubase employes build S1. Hope it gets "fixed"

Dear PreSonus Team,

since this request is one year old, I would like to revive it as a Studio One 4 feature request.

Let's assume I'm a sound designer who has to cut hundreds and thousands of samples from a long stream of recordings. I really, really don't want to zoom in to the maximum for a clean cut on the zero crossing. This simply costs too much time and fading is not a solution.

Obviously you already implemented some sort of zero crossing detection (sample snap to zero crossing) for the Sample One XT. Wouldn't it be possible to implement that for cutting audio in events?

I know there are a few DAWs out there which have that already for a long time, but I really would love to stay with you guys ;-)

Have a great weekend @all

Looks like they've taken care of this in v4.5 :)
