Snap to Grid Improvements

  1. Visual indication of snap selections. The Adaptive, Bar, Quantize, and Frames selection is always visible, but to see the Snap to Cursor & Loop, Snap To Events, Snap To Grid, and Relative Grid selections you have to click to display the drop-down. The most important of these, for me anyway, would be to at least see whether Relative Grid is selected.
  2. Snap to Midi Note option on the main toolbar on the Song page. Using Snap To Events in the Edit view of a midi track, I'm able to snap to the beginning and end of notes. I'd like to have this ability from the Song page.

Thanks for considering!

+1 Snap in Studio One is up there with the best right now, but there is still room from improvement.

It would be very helpful to have Relative Grid indicated on the tool bar. Perhaps changing the color of the Toggle Snap button.

Have a look at my suggestion in the Editing page about Snap Options Arguments for Macros - even if the visual part of what you ask for is difficult for the devs to acheive, the ability to set these EXACTLY to you requirement using a macro would kind of solve this for you too.
