This would be incredibly helpful for drum replacement and aligning live instruments to the beat, especially when recordings aren't set to the grid.
As it is, when prepping recorded transients (drums in this case) for MIDI conversion for use in a sampler, I have to manually drag each transient indicator to the waveform's zero point. It would sure speed things up if the transient line would snap to the zero crossing.
