"The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem"  I found one response here on the forum with a solution but it did not work.  Need help.  not able to start software.

Same problem here since Windows update yesterday. Can´t open S1 because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing. A new installation of S1 didn`t solve the problem. Do you have a solution for the problem yet?

Just found a solution that worked for me :

Go to:

https://www.visualstudio.com/de/downloads/             (sorry, it´s the german version)

scroll down the list to the end of the page.  Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable für Visual Studio 2017
