Question

Installed everything just fine. Whenever I hit record, the instrument will only be recorded for 5 seconds and then it cuts off. I have an Audiobox 1818VSL running on a HP Refurbished Pro 6300 Tower Desktop Computer, 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5-3470, 2 TB HDD, 16 GB DDR3, 

Any advice?

Hello,

Does it do it when recording an instrument track and audio track? You may want to check that you don't have auto punch enabled. It could be that your your loop is only 5 seconds long.
