I have Studio One 3(SO3) Artist and a Fender Mustang GT amp. I am trying to go from the USB out on the amp into my Macbook Pro and record with SO3. The audio device shows up, channels are there, but no audio whatsoever.

On the flip side, if I open Garageband, it shows up and I can record just fine with that app.

Do I need the VST and AU and Rewire Support add-on that is $79 to make it work or am I missing something else here? I have tried changing every setting. Even tried creating an aggregate device in audio midi settings to no avail.

Help!

I assume you're using the USB as an audio input, so just to make sure, it's showing up as an audio device in the Studio One audio set up, and you've got it showing up on your track on the input device right? (white arrows), and, you have the track armed for record and active. (red arrows). If that's the case, is there a way of increasing the output from the amp?

VST and rewire support won't help with this since it's an audio device.

Did you every get this to work?  I have an active ticket with PreSonus on this very thing.  It works in Logic Pro X and Garage Band as well.  Please let me know if you figured it out.

Thanks,
Steve
