Hi,

What features does the Universal Control offer with an AudioBox iTwo on macOS? Is it worth installing? On these devices, is it just used for firmware updates or are there actual settings to play with?

I ask because I couldn't find a user's manual and I'd prefer not to pollute my OS with unnecessary kernel drivers when I can avoid it to keep things stable.

Thanks!

Though the AudioBox is class compliant on OS X, Universal Control IS the driver for the AudioBox.

Also, Universal Control is the delivery system for our drivers per our hardware, and allows for firmware updates for our hardware. This is why UC is very important.
