Bluetooth Pairing with Ceres C3.5BT or Ceres C4.5BT Speakers and Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 Devices
1. From the main screen, swipe the right side of the screen in the direction of the red arrow to open the options panel with shortcuts to the Apps, Settings, and Start page.
Windows 8 and 8.1 users that do not have a touch screen, move your mouse cursor to the right edge of the screen to open the options panel.
2. Select the Search icon (looks like a magnifying glass).
3. In the option panel below the Search field, select the “Settings” icon.
4. In the upper right, under Settings, is a text box; type “Bluetooth”.
5. In the left column, select “Add A Bluetooth Device.”
6. Push and hold the Bluetooth button on the Ceres C3.5BT or Ceres C4.5BT front panel for three seconds. Release the button when the blue LED on the Ceres speaker starts to blink. This will make the device discoverable by your computer. You will have 60 seconds to establish the Bluetooth connection. The LED will blink until a connection is made.
Click “Add Device” at the top of the Bluetooth device list to look for the Ceres speakers.
7. In the Bluetooth device list select “Ceres C3.5BT” or “Ceres C4.5BT.”
Then you will see a blue progress line as Windows finalizes the Bluetooth pairing connection.
8. It will take a few moments to establish a connection.
9. Once complete, the Bluetooth device list will show the Ceres C3.5BT or Ceres C4.5BT in the list, with an icon consisting of a blue box behind a speaker.
10. Your Ceres C3.5BT or Ceres C4.5BT speaker should now be set as your default playback device.
To check this we have to go to Sound Settings in the Control Panel, but first we need to return you to your Windows 8 home screen.
Touch screen users can select the upper right corner to go back to home or by tapping the Windows key on your keyboard.

12. Select the Search Icon (looks like a magnifying glass).
13. In the option panel below the Search field, select the “Settings” icon.
14. In the upper right under Settings is a text box; type “Sound”.
15. In the middle of the screen, in the third row of icons, select “Mange Audio Devices.”
16. In the Sound Properties menu Playback tab, select “Speakers: Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio” as your default device.
Your speakers are now ready to use with your Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 computer. Close the Sound Properties Window and any other windows open. Open your favorite media player, web page or game to start using your speakers.
