I would like to see a Chunks Feature like Digital Performer has in Studio One. This would be great for working on larger projects that rely on many parts such as game music or film composition!

For those not familiar what Chunks are:

Think of us composers in general please as well :)

Plus one on that ! But you should edit your post so users who are not familiar with DP will know what chunks are.

This would make S1 1,000x better than Cubase for film.

Films can come in 1 big file or 20 separate video files. Copying themes from the finale to the beginning... it's all disorganized. If S1 had a sketch-pad-esque menu for editing multiple sequences in one file, referencing timecode start points on one big video, or multiple videos... that would make life a lot easier. Many asked Steinberg for this for years with no luck. I hope PreSonus adds this.

One of the best features of DP and the main reason I want to test that DAW. It's equivalent to flows in Dorico.

It would be awesome if S1 had something similar to this. I did test the latest version of DP but it is hard to wrap my head around how things are organized and handled within.

Something that could work as well would be the following:

-Allow different versions for the video track like for audio and instrument tracks.

-add shortcuts to globally add, delete, and duplicate a version (for audio, instrument, and video track), switch between them (perhaps a window like the group window), for export the ability to choose which version should be exported (are a multi-export option; export cue like in Cubase)

Or alternative B:

allow the scratch pad versions to be visible for the whole arranger window (that would be the easiest one)

- with the addition to unlink CC, Automation parameter in the new scratch pad version (a reset functionality for different parameters, so they can be written in accordance to the new piece, etc.) A window like in DP would be great (change or thin out midi continuous data, I guess it is called).

-or the behavior to treat a new scratch pad/cue like an empty slate (only in regards to Midi CC and Automation data)
