StudioLive classic will not connect to PC via Firewire

I have a Dell 1525 laptop with built in firewire. Universal Control and Capture will not connect to my StudioLive16.4.2.

I have connected in the past, though it has been a while.

Windows 7 on the computer

I uninstalled the programs and re-installed them. Seems to be working fine now.
