Question

There are a couple key things missing from the Series 3. You already know this, but you keep refusing to give anything more than brush-off answers. So I'm going to ask for an actual, real reply to these questions:

On what date can we expect to FINALLY see updated firmware that will give us full DAW control, automated faders, and everything else we've been waiting for in ProTools (and Logic, and CueBase, etc)?

On what date can we expect to FINALLY see updated firmware that with allow us to record in 44.1?

Geeze guys, how in the world did you miss these 2 such obvious things in your development of this product? Sorry, but nobody that's working with pro studios is recording with StudioOne. We're using industry standard DAWs. The Series 3 could become the board of choice for a lot of folks, but not when we cannot record in the format (44.1) we need using the DAWs (ProTools) we already use.

Please give us actual dates for a change. Or just be honest and say it's never going to happen so those of us waiting can move on to more progressive companies to spend our money with.

We are not able to put out a date at the present time as to when this is going to be available. Discussing this with management and the product team about this, our message at the time of this writing is that it is an active project we are working on. We want to make sure we get it right and it's taking longer than expected. Please be patient, we're confident it will be a big hit when it's ready.

We recently introduced patching in UC 2.6 for EarMix and StageBox, and if you're a Pro Tools user you're limited to 32 channels of I/O, with Patching now you'll be able to route your audio streams in the mixer so you can hear your output or any other configuration you want to your DAW returns. Now that is available we are able to continue to focus on DAW Mode for MCU / HUI and 44.1 support.

We would strongly suggest that instead of entering more feature requests/entries, to instead just vote this entry up / down.
