With only 16 faders on my StudioLIve 32SC, using the console as a DAW controller is more time consuming to get a level balance than is worthwhile. Since all tracks are ALWAYS present, and flipping from page to page is clunky!
Hiding the tracks that are hidden in Studio One as well as collapsing folder tracks would make mixing with the console way more optimal.
I know this is possible because it is a feature with the Mackie Control in Logic while using the StudioLive as DAW controller
