i use one template for all compositions....if i load a new template the CS18Ai finds it and becomes fully functioning daw controller, just as i had hoped.  once i save the song and start building tracks, in about 60 percent of songs the CS18Ai just does not respond to the DAW button, except for the play and stop controllers.   some notes,  my DAW is permanently disconnected from online and i use no antivirus or firewall services...... the CS18Ai is the only thing that is inconsistent in my rig.....help????

With the CS18Ai we strongly suggest using Ethernet for DAW Control and not WiFi for best connectivity success. What may be happening is that your Wi-Fi connection (Router) is limiting traffic. Even with an Ethernet connection, you'll need to go into the FireWall of your Router and make sure port forwarding is turned on for UDP and TCP ports 47809 which is the registered port for UCNet. This should clear up your issues. If you continue to have issues, then please open a support ticket with us so a support agent can assist.
