ive spent the last 4 days trying to figure out why exactly I cannot pan inside my daw. im using a studiolive 24.4 mixer with windows 10 in adobe audition. ive been on the audition forum for days getting advice, switvhing settings ect...ive finally come to the conclusion this issue has gotta be something with the mixer. maybe some minor setting in the physical mixer, or even in universal control or something. anytime I pan in my DAW...my signal stayed centered. ive switched outputs from mono to stereo and blah blah blah...its gotta be the mixer. how should the universal control app outputs be setup? and do I need to open universal control and let it run in the backround while im using my daw or something?

Hey i figured it out. On my end...channels 1-2  control the volume on my monitors. I deselected the stereo link option on the board...then hit select on channel 1...pan that all the way left manually..then select channel 2 and pan that right and it shld work. Let me kno if this did it for ya. Turned out to be something really simple. Also Make sure in the universal control app settings in channel mapping...that u have the OUTPUTS Left on channel 1 and right on channel 2.

Same experience with the Studiolive Series III 16.   Can hear the pans great using headphone jack on mixer, but no pans in L and R monitors.  Moving the panning knob has no impact.   Called Support and they said they are looking into it.   Am betting it has something to do with the UC app and settings therein.
