If you are using a MAC then you can use the USB or the AVB connection. A PC will need to have a AVB card installed.

When setup use the Templates in Studio One, this will create the inputs and outputs for you.
How to create a new song using a template
- Launch Studio One 3/4
- Select Create New Song
- In the "New Song" window select "Interface" and select your device from the options listed
A new session will be created displaying all the channels that are available from you device
You can check the inputs/outputs by selecting "Audio Input/Output" tab in the Song Setup tab.
