I cant put any of my demos on soundcloud it says the db level is to high or to low how do I change it easier and whats the db volume supposed to be at for my personus 8 jack recorder audiobox 1818vsl

Actual DB volume is a personal taste issue. Google loudness wars to see why.

 

To get the DB level down for the mixdown, bring the fader down on the main output. To affect all faders, slect the far left fader on the mixer, holding down shif. Then click the rightmost fader, and all should be selected. Use this temp grouping to pull down all the faders relative to their level amongst each other.
