Guitar is not recording but levels are moving

My interface is ********* everything with my mic in input 1 is working fine but when I switched to track 2 with my guitar the levels are moving and clear but when I record it is just a flat line.

Please help!!!

Auto-Punch is disabled, right? This bit me hard when I was tracking an artist for the first time. It's the icon next to the word, "Metronome".
