Will a 3rd party mastering suite plug-in work with artist if i buy Vst add on?

I know artist lacks the feature for mastering songs but if i all ready have a mastering suite will i be able to use it if i buy the Vst and rewire ability for SO3 Artist. Thanks

If its a VST plugin it should work with the add on.
