I have an Audiobox USB connected to my PC, to then connect to my powered monitors (speakers).

During playback, they pop and click constantly. This occurs no matter the program, web browsers, iTunes, etc. It does not occur on other outputs of the computer, such as the headphones and internal speakers.

It sounds like a pop or click when two devices lose digital sync, or when re-clocking. But this occurs constantly, though the interval is not consistent. It is pretty much unbearable to listen to anything.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I had been running the USB for the Audiobox thru a USB hub. Today I moved it to a USB jack on my laptop, direct. The volume of sound out of the speakers got louder, and no popping.
So my theory is the Audiobox was not getting enough power when routed thru the USB hub.

I had to open the window's sound setting and adjust the master volume down until the popping went away. Not an audiophile so not sure, this may be the gain. I went down to both 96% in L&R speakers and the popping went away.
