Some time ago I put a link out there, it might be in the Forums. On eBay I found some 3-M multi-touch monitors that were used a weekend at a kiosk. They are 22" multi-touch monitor without and cases or frames, just the monitor. 3-M on their website has a download that will make your OSX work with that monitor. the gentleman had several and the price was around $400 including shipping. I have a Mac 13' so I know where you are coming from - my eyes are a little old as well. Fortunately I have both, Mac and PC, I had to upgrade to Windows 10 to use the monitor with that workstation. I do the recording on the Mac and editing on the PC. I use a Glyph Studio formatted to FAT32, both can read and write to the external drive. There is still a lot of experimenting I am doing with the multi-touch, Studio One 3.2 seems to like it. I am a bit naive but working on it.
