hi;
ok so i'm very new into home recording and I am just starting out.Through my research I realized that eventually once I progress I would be needing a real DAW upgrade. So I thought of looking for a free based DAW to start and be familiarized with so that eventually when I upgrade to a more complete version I wont be adjusting much and this what lands me through Studio One 4 Prime. Fast Track I just recently installed it in my laptop I though of initially playing with it by importing a backtrack file that I have and boom! I can hear it and its really promising. So just to continue my initial noob navigation I though of putting vocals on the track by recording on it and then the problem happens I'm not getting any recording feed. So I check some online support and did it like setting the interface that I have make sure the record button is geared up for recording but still I am not getting any feed. when I talk using my condenser mic I can see that the software is getting the feed of my voice but what really puzzles me is why there is no recording feed. I am pretty sure this is a very basic initial concern Im just feeling upset that i'm not able to figure out on my own and I don't seem to get any direct to the point discussion about my specific problem in sources like youtube.
so please if you can help me here I am sorry as I'm really noob on this :( hope I get to have response ASAP.
