can i retrieve lost files

well I goofed up big time...I thought I was cleaning up the folder where my studio 1 songs were being saved and it seems that I lost a whole bunch of info for my tunes...they are not found...some just a few parts and others everything...any way to retrieve the files??

hey I found them...DUH... they were in the trash...returned them and all is well...sorry   alan
