What would be the reason for this? I have the Roland duo-capture ex can someone please tell me how to fix this issue?

Sorry for the delay in replying - just adding an answer here for anyone else having this issue subsequently.

Try running the Windows Default sound or Direct Sound to run the Roland sound card in Notion Preferences>Audio. Otherwise, make sure you have the sounds installed, and that the location is correctly set in Preferences>Audio>Choose sample folder
