Background:  I have a stand alone IEM rack using the RML 32ai and I take it on the road with multiple bands.  On the road we have to tie into whatever mixer the FOH system happens to be at that venue and most do not run presonus gear.  My current setup includes XLR splitters and analog snakes to isolate IEM's from the FOH.  Currently I run a stage snake to analog splitters, out the splitter to my 32ai and then out the splitter to another XLR snake to that I loop through the venue's stage box matching channel to channel.  This is time consuming and frustrating at times.  I have been looking into alternative solutions using CAT5 connections and digital snakes.  Here are a couple questions.

Is there a way to use the network card on my Presonus to send the 32 dry pre's to the FOH mixer keeping them separate from my IEM mixes?  I don't think this is possible but if so it would be great to try out.

Additionally I have been looking into digital snakes.  Would a digital snake with an A and B out be brand agnostic?  So, one CAT5 would go to my 32ai and the other go to the FOH whatever digital board they may be running?

As the RM will only work as a stage box for a AVB enables AI console the only option you have would be to go down the Dante route for the RM. However your FOH consoles would also need to be Dante enabled. There would be no generic "1 solution for all mixers" option.
