You can select your MIDI keyboard in the inspector's MIDI IN Tab of your  corresponding instrument.

Special tip: you can select multiple channels and than change your input selection. This trick work's in Studio One in many cases.

See this picture:

MIDI IN for the instrument track

Alternatively you can open the plugin bar and than choose your MIDI keyboard in the direct input area. This work's for every plug-in independently. See this picture:

Direct Input area in the plug-in bar

You can also control the MIDI output of your MIDI keyboard. Set your individual midi channels or type "All inputs". Tip: Check also the "Split Channel" checkbox: This allows you to select a specific MIDI channel for your instrument (see picture 1: MIDI channel selection 1...16).

Control your MIDI output in Options - External Devices

I hope this will help you

Ok scratch that.  I just had a whole thing about how it doesn't work but it does in-fact work with multiple controllers.  You just have to add all of your controllers to the track for routing purposes (what a cheezy implementation)

So I have 2 Komplete Kontrol keyboards, I have to add them both to the instrument and select channel 1 for both.  This way in midi mode, either one will work when set to channel 1 on this track.

Seriously, why do it this way?  all they needed to have was an input channel selector on the "all inputs" option.
