Question

i am editing in the track window where several tracks are seen. using the split tool in a loop region, the track will snap back to the beginning of the track. this makes me have to slide the window back to where I was editing a cut. quite aggravating when the earlier version just stayed where it was so I can continue cutting even while the music is playing.   i don't see where I can prevernt it from snapping back every time i make a cut.    terrible!

Please advise.
