Question

Can we get a simpler custom rules interface?  Right now, you pretty much have to write code to implement custom rules.  It would be great to have some system like that in Cubase, where the rules are written using musical symbols and plain language that's easy to understand, with the coding happening "under the hood".

I fear it is not the UI but the rule system itsel that has issues. I understand the mechanics of the rules, but hey I'm a programmer so that could be the reason .

I struggle more with the fact that articulations and techniques cannot be added at will.

Agreed. I've given some suggestions as to my opinion what needs to be implemented in a more recent additional request.
