Question

HI,

is it possible to play songs (between bands) on my Ipad 5th Gen with a media player app directly into UC Surface and thus directly into the desk and out through PA ?

I'm trying to avoid hooking up extra physical things to the desk eg: a laptop and its headphone out to a couple of channels.. or something to the 2-track input jacks..

I'm thinking it'll need a player that can communicate with UC Surface..does such an app exist ?

Or maybe bluetooth the the ipad to the desk directly somehow ??

As U can see, I'm a novice.. so either I've missed something glaringly easy, or it really is as hard as I'm finding..

Ipad 5th Gen

Apple Airport Express 5th Gen wireless router

UC Surface (works brilliantly with the SL-AI)

There is no means to transmit audio over wifi from the iPad into the mixer. There may be the ability to stream audio from the iPad into the Apple Airport router and a audio link from the router to the mixer, but this would be something best answered by Apple.
