Maybe you could add us a bit more informations as someone could find your issue source easier.
- Do you have a particular error message ? or just windows "program not answering" , or just closing itself ?
- Did you checked some topic to make sure of compatibility of your S1 version and your waves plugins versions ?
- Did you well installed the plugins following the waves guide ?
- Was they working before ? or is it doing this since first install ?
Maybe you've tried it already and i know it's a pain in the *** but you might wan't to try reinstalling waves plugins (s1 should be fine if you don't have any other issues ... )
