Studio One 4.1.1 professional, Melodyne 4.2 essential, Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13

When I select a track and "edit with Melodyne" I get a dialog box that says "To activate this capability please install Melodyne.  But when I go to the installation page it says it is installed and shows the s/n.  Melodyne is in the browser list, and if I drag it into a track it does come up, but it is empty.  If I select help and about, it shows that it is version 4.2.0.020 (64-bit) and my s/n.  I can also open the stand-alone version from the applications folder in the finder.

Why is it saying that it isn't installed and isn't working like it should?

Hi, check if you have anything disabled in Preferences > Advanced > Services. I've faced the same thing when I disabled VST plugins support.

Hope this helps.

I am having the exact same problem. I read the answer, but I can't even find preferences. Is it on the Studio One page somewhere?  Presonus is all new to me. I've been working on this Melodyne download for a week and still can't get it to work.

Just had this problem then figured it out:
In your locations settings, under VST plugins make sure the folder containing melodyne is added to the VST locations.

Click 'reset blacklist'
Close studio one and reopen it.

That worked for me.
