Question

I have bought quantum ,xps15 9560 and a TB16 thunderbolt dock. The TB16 have an extra tb3 outport and I have test it by another tb3 dock,and it's work. I connected the interface to pc via an apple adapter direct plug in the pc and it's work.but when I plug the interface to the tb16, I can't see the interface in system.

should I change the adapter to a official recomend model? or the interface is just can not work through a dock?
