So I add a new instrument, channel appears in edit and mix windows, but can only see the solo button, mute button and the option for automation. No record arm button, can arm it to record from the console but not from the edit window track as usual. So I guess I'm in some kind of automation mode that I can't get out of..? I've got out of it before but can't actually remember how and would like to know what's going on. All of my audio tracks with inputs assigned have record arm buttons but if I add a new one or an instrument then they don't.
Probably something really obvious I am missing, but if someone would be kind enough to help - that would be great. Thank you.
Figured it out... right click and hit "edit track". Is there are a way you can do this for all tracks at once and flick between automation and edit? Thanks.
