Instead of preSonus trying to build that technology, they created an integration API for other companies to integrate. Two of those companies are Celemony who makes Melodyne for pitch correction, and Synchro Arts makes the very thing you need, VocALign. I bought VocALign and added it in and it is superb. It totally integrates with Studio One. There are some plugins that are worth buying, PreSonus makes an array of products but that type of utility isn't something to easily whip out like an EQ or compressor, so instead PreSonus chose to offer integration with the best out there, and Synchro Arts has been making this utility and improving on it for over 20 years. THAT'S why it's an add-on you have to buy.

I also don't believe they will add that feature, since VocAlign can do it so well and does have good sales once or twice a year.

There is a youtube video from Studio One Expert showing vocals being aligned using bend markers.
I used that on a song and it worked great, it was pretty tedious, but it didn't leave artifacts, since I was only sliding the parts slightly and it demonstrates how powerful the built in funcitons of Studio One are.

Another option is using melodyne, even essential allows you to move the timing around.  I have used both, but the bend markers were nice because you can visually see the changes.

All that being said I believe an automatic program like VocALign is probably worth the money.
