Studio 192: Simultaneous channels at 24bit/192kHz? USB3.1 support?

Just wondering how many simultaneous channels can be converted at 24bit/192kHz over USB3.0?

Also, does Presonus plan to support USB3.1 in the future, which has twice the bi-directional bandwidth of USB3.0? And if so, will it be possible to upgrade Studio 192 firmware for USB3.1 support, or will it require new hardware?

Product page says 8 ins at 192/24. Don't know the answer to usb 3.1
