I Just restored my PC and I downloaded Splice, installed Studio One and now I am receiving an error whenever I try to register Studio One 4

"this product key requires an additional license that could not be found on this computer"

Both keys match from my Presonus account and Studio One.

I have tried Reinstalling both Studio One and Splice with Revo Uninstaller, CCleaner, removing all folders and files.

I have reached out to both splice and Studio one to help with the issue, Splice sent 1 message so far and no word from Studio One.

I am running Windows 10 x64

I'm on Mac OS X 10.15 - I've been having this issue for two days. I assumed it was because I was running S1 from my external hard drive. First activation I did was an offline activation. I tried removing the first activation and reactivating offline and kept getting the same message. No idea what to do, so I uninstalled Splice and reinstalled. Closed S1. Turned my Wifi Off then back on. Reopened and put in my product key and it magically decided to work. I can't tell you why but I can tell you I was this close to switching back to Logic lol.

I finally figured it out! If you're currently in the Rent-to-Own plan, you need to download SPLICE, log in to your splice account, install Studio One from the splice app and voila!

If you finished your rent-to-own plan on splice you get this error.

I got to my account on presonus, "upgraded" Studio one with the key I got from Splice. And activated splice on my PC with the same key. This worked!

Just faced the same issue, 'cause I finished my rent-to-own plan on Splice.
