Hello,

Please excuse if this has been answered before.

Is there an issue with Universal Control mixer bypass and Studio USB interfaces ?

I play audio through my 1810 using the Presonus ASIO driver and Universal Control mixer bypass enabled. However, the audio for the stream targeting Line outputs 1 + 2 is always present on all other Line outputs. Furthermore, the Mic/Line inputs audio is always present on the outputs as well. It's like the mixer bypass doesn't remove the routing/mixing feature.

I've written software that uses ASIO directly to target specific resources and I can't have audio showing up where it's not intended.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64bit,Version 1803. Presonus Universal_Control v2.10.1.50831. Presonus Studio 1810.

Thanks in advance,

Russ...

I'm having the same problem. In Ableton and in Reaper it behaves the same way. Anyone?

Hi,

actually it is know bug for some time. I've almost gone mad couple of months ago when I faced exactly the same behaviour on my 1824c interface. Whole issue is that after PC restarts UC live mixer is not bypassed anymore even it shows it is.

Although it is annoying, workaround is pretty simple: every time PC starts go to the UC mixer console settings, un-bypass the mixer and bypass it again. After that It should be working fine, it does in my case.

Hope it helps.

Cheers.

I just bought a 1824 to discover to my great disappointment that channels are all messed up at the outputs and the only solution is bypassing the mixer, but everytime I reboot the pc I have to un bypass and bypass the mixer again. Very nasy bug. I wonder if in the meanwhile a solution has been found or the bug fixed. Please let me know. Thumbs down for presonus this time
