Effect bleed on unarmed channels with live recording?

Problem / Question with bleed on unarmed tracks in live recordings?

When I record and select/arm say 8 tracks to record on I am getting bleed from vocals on the other tracks that are not selected/armed. Bleed is on all tracks armed or not.
It seems to have a heavy delay and reverb so I am guessing that it could be coming through the effects send maybe.

When I try to noise gate say kick drum. The noise gate blocks drums and leaves bleed over vocals etc.
So on a live recording in the past I use the noise gate to clean up drums.
My last two recordings when I try to use the gate on the kick and snare it gates out the drum and leaves the vocal and ambient sounds??
Thank you
Hope you can help. Thank You

Make sure you do not have mixfx console active or make sure the cross talk is set to 0... What interface do you use? Does os have on board dsp and monitor effects?

Does it go away if you disable Solo Safe on your FX buses? I think the command to do that is like Shift or Cmd or Alt clicking on the solo button on the bus, should be yellow for Non-Solo Safe or green for Solo Safe

Also do you track with effects on your vocal inputs? Like printing the inserts by putting the inserts in the Input Channels insert rack? Not in your Console, in the Inputs section.

1st Thank you

I have done quite a bit of live recording with Presonus studio live and never had this happen.

The talk back and solos are off.
The Interface is just StudioLive Series 3 board direct to an SD card from live performance.

This is happening in the board and then tracks are being mixed on S1 Pro 4 and seem to un-fixable with the noise gate.
As I said the gate takes out the drums and leaves the background noise.

The recording are live performances and are pre-fader. We are getting these effects artifacts on channels that are not armed.

I may try just resetting the board to zero factory. Couldn't really do that live last night.

I was hoping to find out what went wrong so to avoid the problem happening again.

THank you for the input

Unless I’m misunderstanding this sounds like an issue with StudioLive Capture. Sounds like the problem is there before it even gets imported to studio zone, right? I was just a little confused since this is in the Studio One section

Maybe I should repost in SL or capture?

I was under the impression that SL series 3 was not using capture although it is on the mixer.

We are just dragging the tracks from SD card  to S1

Thanks

Still trying to track this down.

I disabled the console shaper and that got rid of the effects bleed.

Recording rhythm tracks on Presonus Studio/Live series 3 mixer with Presonus studio one Pro4 DAW.

Later trying to add tracks to this recording with the Big Knob and all tracks bleed into the track I am recording.
I have tried working with the studio one I/O settings and eliminated the console shaper.

Thank You
