My band rehearses with in ear monitors and the guitars & bass are all run direct and we use Ampire for amps & cabinets. The lead guitar player is plugged into an A/B pedal. The "A" output of the pedal is routed to channel 7 on a Studio Live series III with Blackface Twin as the clean channel and the "B" output is routed to Channel 8 and he is using the Dual Amplifier.
For some reason, on these channels, when I solo them I can hear the vocal track and the acoustic guitar track which are Channels 6 & 9.
The result is that the vocals & acoustic are being fed through the distortion and sounds terrible. I tried to gate it out but I had to apply so much gate to the channel that it was squashing the guitar.
It wasn't happening before so It may be something I did recently but I don't know what possibly could be causing it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
